DeLynn Powell: Wife, Mother, And Best Friend, Dies Of Cancer At 58; Husband Honors Her Memory By Continuing Mission

It's been a month since my beloved wife DeLynn passed away, two days after our 25th wedding anniversary. She fought a courageous battle against colorectal and liver cancer for almost three years, taking every type of chemotherapy they could come up with, along with "home remedies" said to fight or even cure cancer.

Thousands of people from nearly every Christian denomination prayed for DeLynn's healing. Muslims prayed for her healing, as did viewers of other faiths; Atheists and Agnostics sent "good vibes" and "healing thoughts."

When she was brought home for the last time, from hospital to in-home hospice, we had an evangelistic Protestant minister come over to lay healing hands on her. He used Holy Water and oil blessed by the glove of Padre Pio that had been sent to us by a Catholic viewer several months ago as our entire family gathered around her bedside praying for her recovery.

I thought we had all of the bases covered, and that it was only a matter of time before I witnessed the miracle we had all been praying for. When DeLynn awoke from the coma she was in during the minister's visit and played a game of Yahtzee with us, I thought that miracle had been realized.

We played a full card of Yahtzee - Me, DeLynn, and all of the kids - and each of us spent time talking with her. Alone. I was full of so much hope, she was so alive!

Then she said, "I'm tired. I think I'm going to lay down for a little bit." She lay down, she closed her eyes, and never woke up again.

At the time, I didn't know that she wouldn't wake up again. Since she was a diabetic, making sure her sugar remained around 300-400 (the level recommended by Hospice to keep her comfortable) was a challenge since she could not eat and IVs were not allowed under their rules.

For the last two days of her life I checked her sugar every hour, giving her insulin, or putting gelled sucrose on a swab and putting it in her mouth, whatever the readings on the glucose monitor indicated. Controlling her pain with oral Morphine and keeping her blood sugar between 300-400 became an obsession. It was the only thing I could control as the cancer continued to sap her strength.

Finally, the entire family came to me and asked me to stop. They knew what I refused to accept: DeLynn was gone, and all that was left was an empty shell kept alive by sheer force of will; hers and mine combined. I was being selfish, prolonging her suffering, and it was time to let her go Home.

Exhausted, I agreed. I stopped monitoring her blood sugar so closely and six hours later her heart stopped beating and she was really, truly, gone.

For the last month I have struggled to come to terms with this new reality: My wife is with Jesus and no amount of begging, pleading, or cursing, is going to change that. The light of my life has been extinguished. The woman that has been the rock-solid center of this family as wife, mother, and best friend, is gone. Just gone.

I just noticed that I've used the same word several times in rapid succession, a no-no for any decent writer; but "gone" is what she is to me. It's how I feel. The word conveys, to me, a sense of purposelessness, that her death had no meaning other than to hurt and take away from those who loved her.

Had she been healed, I would have been on the air 24/7 praising God and proclaiming proof of His existence through my wife's miraculous healing. Now what do I have to proclaim? Thousands of people praying for her, laying on of hands through the Holy Spirit; and a beautiful, gentle, 58-year-young child of God still dies.

Where's the miracle in that? If I ever find it, I will let you know. Maybe all we rated was one last game of Yahtzee.

I want to thank everyone for their prayers, and the condolence cards sent to the P.O. Box. One viewer in particular - Rose - is in our hearts for the beautiful Heart-shaped memorial and book on grief by C.S. Lewis. Knowing that your support continues as I rearrange my life is invaluable.

Valuable as well, perhaps even more so, are the contributions made to The Truth Is Viral by Dr. David Rice, Pete Santilli, Tim Brown, Susan Duclos, and the rest of the TTiV admin staff. They are the ones that are keeping you informed and spiritually aware while I'm catching my breath, planning the next phase of my assault on the Antichrist.

Oh yeah, that's right. I'm neither Gen Douglas MacArthur, nor am I the Terminator, but you can bet your sweet bippy that "I'll be back." I'll be the first to admit that losing my mother and my wife within a month of each other - both to colorectal and liver cancer - right after losing my 24-year-old daughter to a heart attack, has been a blow. If I took a stress test I'd probably score in the "Why hasn't your head exploded yet?" category.

I don't know what God has in store for my life, but I have come to the realization that my happiness doesn't mean that much to Him, not in the "short-term" anyway. He is interested in my long-term Salvation, and yours too.

I don't know how God will use me to spread His word in these very last days, but doing His will, glorifying His holy name, is all I have left. As I did after the inexplicably tragic death of my daughter, I am going to turn the direction of The Truth Is Viral over to the real "Editor-in-Chief," Jesus Christ, the Son of the One True Living and Almighty God, and let Him take me wherever He will.

With the help of the Holy Spirit, and supported by your prayers, I will "Improvise, Adapt, and Overcome." With the help of Almighty God, together we will "Save lives and win souls for Jesus Christ."

"We Humble Ourselves - Turning a Nation Back to God" Concert To Inspire Christian Patriots In Dearborn

An exciting event is coming to Dearborn Michigan in August: The "We Humble Ourselves® Turning a Nation Back to God" rally, where patriotic Christians will gather together for a musical program designed to remind us of the Faith of our Forefathers, a Faith that must be renewed if we expect our Father in Heaven to show us any mercy during the dark days to come.

We hope to have the event's promoters on the show soon to talk about this exciting program, but for now, this press release will have to do:

We Humble Ourselves — Turning a Nation Back to God is a patriotic concert featuring a symphony orchestra, a choral group, a drum and fife corps, and re-enactments of historical figures.

The characters include:

Our First Fathers (the Pilgrims), Our Founding Fathers (George Washington, Thomas Jefferson and others), and; Our Uniting Fathers (Abraham Lincoln and Frederick Douglass).

The event has the unique distinction of allowing the audience to participate in the concert by joining in the songs—and even a couple prayers—for those who want to say them.

The stage will be adjacent to an area of the park that will house tents and encampments of the historical reenactors so that visitors can experience what it must have been like for our ancestors. And the audience will be encouraged to dress in Colonial or Civil War clothing for the Event.

Everything is arranged to allow a family to attend at no cost (there’s no admission fee) or minimal cost (if they want to buy hot dogs and apple pie).

And whether or not visitors choose to buy souvenirs, everyone will come away with memories that will last a lifetime.

The concert on Sunday at 3 p.m. is a stirring, heart-affirming presentation with a beautiful symphony and choral group, joyful hymns, patriotic sing-a-long songs and even a few delightful surprises.

For the healing of our Nation and our Nation's citizens.

Yes, really.

There is no hidden agenda, no politics, no secret funders, no famous speakers. The event is a grassroots effort, not sponsored by a specific Christian Church, but having the support of several.

Torture And The Patriotic American Christian

When I see photos and video of innocent people being beheaded I understand what Evil is, and the Marine in me wants to bring all guns to bear to destroy it with extreme prejudice, using whatever means necessary; going all Jack Bauer if need be in order to protect innocent life. The Christian in me says I must temper my righteous anger so that my actions reflect the Judeo-Christian values I hold and endorse.

"Vengeance is Mine, saith the Lord."

So I've been torn on the subject of "torture," particularly when innocent lives are at stake. I remember watching an episode of "24," where Jack Bauer had a man with critical information tied to a chair. This man was a hardened jihadi, time was running out, and Jack set up a video feed that showed the terrorist's family also tied to chairs - with guns to their heads. The man's child was among them.

The man still refused to talk, so Jack ordered his partner to execute the terrorist's wife. A shot rang out and the wife fell back in her chair, out of frame. Jack made it plain that the boy was next to die if the terrorist didn't talk.

He talked and millions of people were saved.

After he spilled the beans though, it was revealed that the wife had not been hurt at all, that her "execution" was a bluff, thereby preserving Jack's status with the audience as a Patriotic hero rather than as an amoral merc.

Was that "torture?" A similar scenario in the recently released report on Enhanced Interrogations says that it is, and that the technique was actually used on a detainee. I don't think that it was torture, nor do I think that the force-feeding of a hunger-striking Kahlid Sheik Mohammed via peanut butter enema was torture.

Some of the EI techniques however, like waterboarding, are torture, having been recognized and implemented as such since the Inquisition.

Having given it some thought and prayer, I have come to the decision that we as a People are better than that, that Christ wouldn't be very happy with us were we to use some of the techniques used by the CIA; techniques that broke down not just the victim, but even those who were implementing them.

We must also consider two other aspects:

1. If any of our soldiers, sailors, airmen, or Marines are captured by the enemy, we won't be able to justifiably complain about their treatment if the US condones true torture. As we found out after WWII, Korea, and Vietnam, our enemies don't always play by the rules. Stories about the torture of American prisoners by State actors, despite the fact that they were signatories to the Geneva Convention, are commonplace and well documented, so we can't guarantee how our prisoners are treated in the future either.

Non-state actors like ISIS and al-Qaeda will never conform to international law as it relates to the treatment of prisoners. Nevertheless, we must maintain the moral high ground or we forfeit our right to complain at all when our sons, and possibly daughters, are being held by a hostile force.

2. As Christians, and simply for being Christians, we are considered possible "domestic terrorists" ourselves. Those Christians who "bitterly cling to their guns and Bibles" are of particular interest to the Dept. of Homeland Security, having been classified a greater threat than Islamic extremists. Do we want to have these techniques applied to us as they might be under Executive Order 13603?

Further, the Obama administration has claimed the "legal" authority to kill any American citizen they choose, without any type of Congressional oversight or judicial review - without so much as a charge of wrongdoing in a court of law - far away from any battlefield. Back to the subject of torture, I'd like to share an article I read this morning titled, "7 Things Christians Should Know About Torture," from "Cannon and Culture." I know nothing about this website, but this particular article is a good read and should help you understand more about the subject of torture as it relates to our behavior as Children of the Most High God.

Whether you, dear reader, are faithful to a Judeo-Christian belief or not, I think that nearly all Americans share an innate sense of fair play. Despite what ultra-liberal politicians would have us believe as they push the demonstrably false "Hands up, don't shoot" narrative in Ferguson Mo. and across the country, the end does not justify the means.

How we fight the battle - whatever that particular battle may be - will be taken into account on Judgment Day. I, for one, want to be able to tell my Judge that I protected the innocent, defended the weak, and fought with Honor.

Christians Beheaded, Churches Burned, Entire Towns Wiped Out As Christian Persecution Escalates Worldwide

Christians have been persecuted since the Roman Emperor Nero fed them to the lions in the Coliseum. Continuing the tradition, Emperor Diocletian wrapped early Christian martyrs in oily rags and set them alight so he could enjoy his roses at night.

Persecution of Christians is back with a vengeance as the radical terrorists of al-Qaeda and the Muslim Brotherhood - supported by Terrorist-in-Chief Barack Hussein Obama - tear across the Middle East burning churches by the score, and religiously cleansing entire towns and villages.



In Syria, the entire Christian village of Maaloula has been cleansed of "infidels" with the brutality one might expect of religious fanatics whose "holy" book tells them to kill Christians and Jews wherever they might be found.

According to news stories and independent video coming out of Syria, Catholic priests have been beheaded {WARNING; NSFW}, nuns have been raped, and little girls have been tortured and have had their limbs cut off; other children have been forced to watch as their parents are beheaded because they refused to renounce their Faith in Jesus Christ, choosing instead to be martyred.

While the guillotines have not yet been brought out in the United States, Christians and Christianity are under unmistakable attack in the United States as well. Here is a brief (and I do mean BRIEF) list of such recent attacks:

But you want to know what is really sweet? At the link just above this line, you will find my source for the opening segment in this show, the story of an increasingly rare victory for Christians. It seems that after Janet Napolitano labeled Christians (among just about everyone else in the country) as possible domestic terrorists, the Army followed suit with a series of briefings given to commanders and NCOs throughout the Army by decidedly anti-Christian "Academics."

Fortunately for the Church, Secretary of the Army John McHugh "has ordered all training and instructions that label evangelicals as 'extremists' or possible domestic terror threats be ended. In a memo distributed to troops on Oct. 18, 2013, McHugh addressed media reports that have highlighted US Army training material that is 'inaccurate, objectionable and otherwise inconsistent' with current Army policy."

Score one for the good guys.

But as previously stated, attacks on Christianity are on the increase, even here in the United States. We are entering the time of Tribulation warned about in the Bible, where before Christ returns for His Bride Christians may very well pay the price for their Faith in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ with their lives. There are reports of 30,000 guillotines already in storage at military bases around the country, ready to be used at a moment's notice.

And I saw thrones, and they that sat on them. And judgment was given to them, and to the souls of the ones having been beheaded because of the witness of Jesus, and because of the Word of God, and who had not worshipped the beast nor its image, and had not received the mark on their forehead and on their hand. ~ Rev. 20:4

Are you ready to give your life for our King? When the Devil's minions are threatening the life of your child. demanding that you accept the Mark of the Beast, will you stand firm? Will you say, "Praise Jesus, Lord I'm comin' home!" as the blade falls; or will you allow the threats of men and the fear of mortal death to intimidate you into accepting the Mark?

I wish I could count on the Rapture to spare the Church, my family and myself included, from the coming Tribulation; but the Bible says that we will suffer for Christ. We are not, however, "appointed to wrath," so at least - according to the Pre-Wrath Rapture scenario towards which I'm leaning- we will be spared the Hell on Earth that awaits the damned.

Let's just pray that our Father in Heaven will protect us from the schemes of the Devil, who is in the Earth right now seeking whom he may devour. I, for one, intend to give the bastard heartburn if he tries to take a bite out of me or mine. In any case, I know that he can do nothing to me or my family that Father won't allow; His will, not mine, be done.

If that means I have to lose my head, or suffer watching a member of my family being tortured or killed, then so be it. Our mortal lives, a blink of the eye compared to Eternity, are nothing. Pain is momentary, fear can be overcome; remaining steadfast as we proclaim Christ King, no matter what the cost, is paramount.

Obama Executive Order 13603 Authorizes Slavery In The US

Slavery is once more legal in the United States.

In this episode of The Truth Is Viral, host Bob Powell reveals language buried deep inside Executive Order 13603, which Barack Obama signed into law on March 16th 2012 that gives the Federal government the legal authority to force any person into de facto slavery.

According to this Executive Order the President, or those he designates, can conscript "persons of outstanding experience and ability without compensation," in "peacetime and times of national emergency." In a nutshell, that means that Barack Obama, and those he designates, can seize any resource, property, or person at any time for any reason, including forcing that person with labor without being paid

There is only ONE word for forced, "uncompensated employment." That word is slavery.

This episode also includes an appeal to Federal, State, County, and Local law enforcement officers to uphold the oath they took to "Protect and Defend the Constitution of the United States," by defending the citizens they have sworn to protect, even when the aggressor is a Federal Government that has devolved into nothing more than a Tyranny where one man (or those he designates) can order the enslavement of its citizens, their detention in labor and re-education camps - even their deaths - simply by signing a piece of paper.

Black Hawk Helicopters Terrorize Michigan Citizens; DHS Vans Spy On Outspoken Activists

As detailed in a previous episode of The Truth Is Viral, a combat-wounded Army Ranger has come forward to complain about attempts to intimidate, some might say terrorize, Michigan Patriots who are vocal about their opposition to the Obama regime. In this episode, the viewer will hear his harrowing tale in his own words.

This war veteran's blood, indeed, the blood of everyone who was ever wounded or killed in the line of duty, has been shed on behalf of a nation that is increasingly turning on those veterans with a paranoid vengeance; declaring them possible "domestic terrorists" along with Preppers, "Birthers", pro-Lifers, environmentalists, home-schoolers, Christians, and even - ridiculous as it sounds - people who pay for their purchases in cash.

This witness, who has come forward to tell his story, has been an extremely vocal Patriot, and has experienced direct intimidation in the form of black vans with tinted windows (but without license plates) parking down the street from his house hacking into his WiFi and spying either on him or on the whole block. More disturbingly, he says that he was paid a visit by a Black Hawk helicopter that flew so low the pilot could have trimmed the man’s tree with his main rotor.

The witness, who spoke on camera on the condition that his identity be obscured, said that a Black Hawk helicopter buzzed his home twice, once flying no more than 20-25 feet above the ground directly over his backyard. The pilot hovered, he said, looked him dead in the eye for a few seconds, then turned his aircraft and flew off.

Angered at what was clearly an act of intimidation the witness said, "They can take my blood, they can take my life, but they will never take the rights that God granted me. Those are God-given, and there's not a man walking on this Earth that can come up against God and win."

Operating under cover of the largest air combat exercise in the country called "Northern Strike," the skies over Northeastern Michigan have been filled with flights of attack helicopters, all fully loaded, flying back and forth to the gunnery range at Camp Grayling. C-130's have also been landing at the Alpena Combat Readiness Training Center filled with foreign troops taking part in these exercises, which include ground operations. I personally ran into four individuals in the local Walmart who bore all the hallmark signs of being Spetsnaz - Russian Special Forces. That story will be released shortly.

Untold numbers of citizens across the United States who have opinions that differ from those of the current administration have suffered some form of intimidation at the hands of an increasingly paranoid government that is desperately trying to survive a series of scandals, any one of which could bring the Obama administration crashing down.

That intimidation has been most visible of late in the form of IRS targeting of Conservative groups, and Justice Department investigations of mainstream journalists. FOX News Washington Bureau Chief James Rosen was nearly charged with espionage by the Justice Department. A DOJ affidavit accused Rosen of being “an aider, an abettor, and/or a co-conspirator” simply for doing his job.

This targeting of journalists was telegraphed by former DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano who said that the National Operations Center’s Media Monitoring Initiative and its Office of Operations Coordination and Planning can collect personal information from news anchors, journalists, reporters or anyone who may use “traditional and/or social media in real time to keep their audience situationally aware and informed.”

But when the government sends a Black Hawk helicopter to hover just feet above the head of an innocent American citizen who has done absolutely nothing other than voice his opinion in accordance with the 1^st Amendment, terrorizing that citizen and his wife, that action goes beyond simple intimidation and enters the realm of criminality; a condition to which the Obama administration is no stranger.

It is, in fact, illegal for a pilot to fly his craft in such a manner. Using an attack helicopter to intimidate and terrorize American citizens who have done absolutely nothing wrong represents a clear and present danger to the citizens of this town, this county, this state, and this country.  At the urging of this reporter, the source in this episode is going to contact local civil authorities to ask them to open an investigation into this matter.

We, the citizens of Alpena Michigan, want this pilot’s wings clipped. If an investigation reveals that the pilot was ordered to fly his helicopter with the intent of intimidating the source and his family, we expect the United States government to punish the person who issued those orders to the fullest extent of the law.

Late Saturday evening, in a cloak and dagger meeting right out of a spy novel, one witness came forward to tell his story for the record.

When I was in the Marine Corps, the Commies were still our enemies. The Berlin Wall was still up, the Iron Curtain was still down, and the Red Menace represented by China and the USSR were our mortal enemies. Tasked with knowing our enemy, training on how to spot enemy soldiers among the civilian population was a skill particularly harped on by our Company Commander.

Not only did these guys have the stern, square-jawed appearance of a steroid-popping Type-A personality, they were speaking Russian; always a dead giveaway. Each one of them carried one of those European-style man purses over their shoulders, the bag itself resting on the side of their torso. I KNEW these guys were packing heat.

Well, so was I. And I got brave for a second.

I followed them for a minute, trying to listen to their conversation to see if any words stood out; but I followed them for just a minute because they made me almost right away. I'm sure they saw my military bearing as well, as if the Marine Corp T-shirt and sidearm weren't hint enough (LOL), I was hardly inconspicuous.

That's when it started getting hairy. Without breaking stride, one of them broke off and circled around and started following me! Not wanting to get into a gunfight with Russian Special Forces in the baked goods aisle of the local Walmart I broke off myself and went out to the truck to grab my camera. I came back inside looking for them, hoping to get a photographic record, but I couldn't find them.

Please continue to keep us in your prayers folks; in fact, pray for our entire nation. Everything that I'm hearing points to a dramatic change in our way of life before the year is out. If we are to survive, we will most definitely need the help and protection of Jesus Christ and His Father, Almighty God. If He stands with us, who can stand against us.

I echo the sentiments of my fellow patriot as I pray for the safety of him and his family: They can take my blood, they can break my body; but they will never break my spirit. If I am destined to give my life for the Truth in the service of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ then so be it. I can't think of a better way to die.

Attack Helicopters Buzz Reporter's House; Spetsnaz, Blacked-out DHS Vans Roam Michigan Streets

A flight of Blackhawk and Apache attack helicopters buzzed a reporter's house on Monday, August 12th 2013; part of a military buildup at the Combat Readiness Training Center in Alpena Michigan.

In addition to the helicopters which were actually caught on video, several local, unimpeachable sources have told The Truth Is Viral Publisher Bob Powell that black DHS vehicles have been roaming around town in the dead of night with their headlights off, training for God knows what. Drones have been seen in the skies above Alpena, the home of a brand new drone facility, and Russian Special forces have been seen in town.

On June 6th of 2012, there was a massive explosion that rocked Northeastern Michigan for hundreds of square miles. This event was reported by hundreds of people, including Alpena County Undersheriff Terry King who said he felt the Alpena County Sheriff's Department building shake as though in an earthquake, yet except for The Truth Is Viral, local media have not reported on the explosion at all.

This reporter was arrested when I attempted to get the Air Force to comment on video, and other than a blanket denial left on my cell phone by the base commander's secretary, the government has maintained its silence on the issue.

After that explosion a witness came forward claiming to have seen U.S. fighter jets engaging a UFO in the skies over Lake Huron, just off the Alpena County shoreline. In order to verify this claim scientifically, this reporter went to Flightradar24 and watched the radar tracks for that night.

At around the same time that the UFO dogfight was reported, three aircraft - one a "cargo" flight from Qatar (home of CENTCOM) - disappear from radar after being held motionless as if they were being held in a Star Trek-type tractor beam for 15 minutes.

None of those planes were reported missing, and the radar tracks from that night have subsequently disappeared from the Flightradar24 servers; but the screen captures still exist in the episode linked above. The investigation into what caused the blast is continuing.

Civil War And The Litmus Test: Will US Troops Fire On American Citizens?

In this interview with celebrated columnist and author Jim Garrow, he tells PressForTruth.ca that American military officers are being given a "litmus test", asked if they will give the order to fire on American citizens who refuse to give up their guns. Those who say they will not are being canned or forced to retire, the latest being Marine Corp General John Allen. Those traitors who have sworn allegiance to Obama and turned their backs on their oath to the Constitution and the American people are left to take their places.




Should foreign troops appear on the streets of the United States, I think it's fair to say they are going to find out what Admiral Yamamoto meant when he said that invading the United States would be a folly because there would be a rifle behind every blade of grass. Unfortunately, that goes for Canadian troops too. Sorry guys, but if you have a blue helmet you're fair game.

The time is going to come all too quickly when men under arms are going to have to decide where their loyalties lay. I would suggest that those men and women in the United States military bone up on the UCMJ's definition of Treason, and the 5th Amendment's remedy for it.
