ACLU Lawyer Calls Obama "Judge, Jury, Executioner" Over Drone Attacks On American Citizens

A recently leaked Department of Justice "White Paper" gives the President of the United States and those he designates - "high government officials" - the authority to take the life of any American citizen, even if there is no proof that the citizen in question is involved in nefarious activities.

John Brennan, the Obama administration's pick to replace Leon Panetta as the next CIA Director, has found his nomination put on hold by Senator Rand Paul after refusing to answer Paul's question in front of the Senate sub-committee regarding the use of drones to attack American citizens domestically; again without ever having been charged with a crime in a court of law. Senator Paul calls the idea "appalling."

In this episode of The Truth Is Viral Nate Wessler, a lawyer with the ACLU's National Security Project, echoes Senator Paul's sentiments in this exclusive interview in which he calls Obama and the members of his administration, "Judge, jury, and executioner." That is a strong statement of condemnation coming from the historically ultra-liberal ACLU.

The United States is governed by psychopaths. I am aware that this is a pretty bold statement, but what else can one call people in power who laugh at the deaths of human beings that THEY caused?

What else can you call George Walker Bush, who makes jokes over starting an unnecessary war that killed more than a million Iraqis and caused tens of thousands of American casualties?

What else can you call Hillary Clinton, who cackled with glee when she learned Moammar Gadaffi had been brutally murdered by the al-Qaeda thugs she helped Obama send to Libya and smirked as she accepted responsibility for the attack on the consulate in Benghazi that left Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans dead?

What else can you call someone like Barack Hussein Obama, who orders the death of a 16-year-old child, namely Abdulrahman al-Awlaki, and then laughs about it at the annual press corp dinner?

Psychopath works for me.

 

The Truth Is Viral: The REAL Herman Cain

In this episode, I want to turn my attention to Republican Presidential candidate Herman Cain, and the response he gave to me last May after the first Republican Debate in Greenville South Carolina.

I didn’t even know that al-Awlaki had been assassinated until I opened an email from one of the producers on the FOX network show “Freedom Watch with Judge Napolitano, asking permission to use part of my interview with Cain on his show. By the next day, my ugly mug was plastered on the front page of every Conservative blog and website in the country, and portions of the interview were also used in one form or another by several of the mainstream media networks.

Wanting to strike while the iron was hot, I got in touch with J.D. Gordon. Commander Gordon is Herman Cain’s press spokesman and foreign affairs advisor. I say Commander Gordon, because he is a 20 year Navy veteran, who has served as a military spokesman for most of that time. As demonstrated by the photographs on his website, he is extremely proud of his service; so proud in fact, that the only pictures available of him on that site are of him in uniform - at Gitmo. Talk about arrogant!

Gordon is a former Defense Department spokesman for Secretary of Defense, serving under both Donald Rumsfeld and Robert Gates. A spokesman for Donald Rumsfeld? When I first read that, I should have known that I was in for a rough time. Watch this video and you'll see just exactly how I say, "The Herman Cain campaign had no comment for this report."
